The idea for Pizzaiolo was inspired by Lin Cutaj the Founder and MD in 1999 when he started working as a Pizza chef for a small Italian restaurant in Chiswick, West London.
Lin became known as the Pizzaiolo ( Pizza chef in Italian) to all who frequented the restaurant. After he left the restaurant Lin created several successful businesses. However, his love for authentic, Italian Pizza and Pasta dishes remained. The idea of serving these delicious, freshly made dishes at competitive prices, without losing authenticity was still his dream.
This dream became a reality when his first Pizzaiolo was opened in West London in 2016. Lin designed and built the restaurant himself, incorporating the clean fresh lines and ambient friendly atmosphere that you will enjoy today at Pizzaiolo.
Pizzaiolo was trademarked in 2019. By this time, Lin had now trained several Pizziolos’ and by 2021 the plan of creating a Pizza franchise was born.
